Course Overview

Ethics Role in Insurance Law (Approved for Ethics)

Course Numbers | MN: 1006387 WI: 6000038804

What do Minnesota laws actually say about what is right and what is wrong?  We will walk through the correlation between what the laws read and what the ethical basis for that very law is.  Bring your questions and we will discuss them.  Agents can play a direct role in making sure insurance consumers are paying a fair price and being treated fairly.  Doing what is right is not just a good idea, it is the law.

Technology, How it Has Changed Insurance

Course Numbers | MN: 1009953 WI: 66168

It is not news to anyone that technology is playing a bigger and bigger role in the world of insurance.  This seminar will pull back the curtain and show you what is going on in these areas;

  • Handling of Information
  • Underwriting
  • Rating
  • Claims processing
  • Risk Management
  • Agency Prioritizing

You will walk away with new ideas on how you can utilize modern day technology to improve work flow and document daily happenings.  Once you see what can be done, it is easy to implement these ideas into how you do things.  Having a better understanding of modern claims procedures will allow you to better advise your clients.
